Before i talk about my spike builds im gonna explan about regular attacks. Regular attacks are too under rated, most ppl consider regular attacks only deal 10ish dmg and they want to see 1 big dmg such as aftershock and be like OMG! If you get 12+4 hammer, 12+1 str, your pure hammer damage is way superior then magical attacks. Your regular attacks can hit a caster for 50, critical for 100, skills such as heavy blow can hit for 82 and critical for 132.

Build 1 Hammer 12+4, Str 11+1 or 12+1, Curse 3 or 6
Devastating hammer
Crushing Blow
Heavy Blow
Plague Touch
Warrior's Cunning or Sprint or Rush or Rigor Mortis
Frenzy
Rend Enchancements
Res Sig
Hammer war is all about Burst Damage, If i get full charge of adrenaline and if i catch the right time, i can take down a caster or a ranger at 100% of their health before they can move. The point is to do 2 chain knockdown and burst all the damage you could to finish them before they can get up. When you engage the enemy's party, 1st thing i do is to attack any easy target, usually i attack warriors because they are easy to hit, and the goal is to gain adrenaline. Once you get full adrenaline, switch to the most threating target such as monks. If they have enchancements, rend it, then do this combo. 1st buff with frenzy, then do Devastating hammer > Crushing Blow > Regular attack > Heavy Blow > Regular attack > Regular attack > Regular attack. Pretty mucyh you can finish a caster or a ranger at full health. If you do Devastating hammer > Crushing Blow > Heavy Blow, Heavy Blow will not knockdown your target because your target is still being knockdown.

about every 1/300 battles i see a monk who can servive from build 1. They cast a spell between the gap of my 2 chain knockdown which the gap is only 1/2 seconds and i didnt know what they cast to make them servive, so i came up with this build. Once you gain full adrenaline, 1st you dont do back breaker, you attack 1 or 2 times so they have 4/5 health remain. Because they wound is so short, most monks dont bother to heal themselves. Then you do this combo, Frenzy 1st, then Backbreaker > Crushing Blow > Mighty Blow > Iresistable Blow then you see the caster die in less then 4 secs. The problem is back breaker takes too long to build up.
